How do I know if I need an immigration evaluation?
Immigration evaluations provide key support in many types of visa cases. If you are seeking residency and/or citizenship in the US then an immigration evaluation might be a necessary step to use as evidence. These evaluations relay important clinical information to officers of the court who review cases and make determinations. Without a well-done evaluation, there could be a chance that you are missing key information to present with your case. You deserve someone who understands you, is considerate of your experience, and can help tell your story in the most effective manner.
WHAT I DO
I provide assessments for the following types of applications:
Extreme Hardship
These applications are available to immigrants facing deportation who can prove that their removal from the United States would cause extreme hardship to a US citizen or permanent resident such as a spouse or parent.
Cancellation of Removal
Cancellation or removal visas are granted to certain non-permanent residents who have been living in the US for at least 10 years, can show good moral character and can demonstrate that their removal would cause unusual hardship to a US citizen or permanent resident such as a child, spouse or parent
U Visa
Filing for a U Visa is designated for victims of certain crimes who have suffered mental or physical abuse. These Visas provide temporary legal status and work authorization to eligible individuals and their family members.
T VISA
T Visas are for victims of human trafficking. These visas provide immigration benefits, including legal status and work authorizations, to eligible survivors and their qualifying family members,
Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)
VAWA Visas are available to certain victims of domestic violence including spouses and children of US citizens or permanent residents who have suffered abuse by their US citizen or permanent resident family member. These visas allow victims to self-petition residency independent of their abuser, providing them with protection from deportation while they pursue safety and independence.
Asylum
Asylum Visas are granted to individuals who have fled their home country due to persecution or a well-founded fear of persecution based on race, religion, nationality, political opinion or membership in a particular social group.
